What will you be doing?
The Public Area Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Director and Assistant Director of Housekeeping in the managing, training and coaching of Public Area Attendants to ensure quality performance on a daily basis. Additionally, based on business need, the Public Area Supervisor will be expected to perform regular housekeeping duties as directed by management.
Public Area Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists with the supervision, training, and coaching of Public Area Attendants, ensuring they understand their duties and perform them efficiently.
- Assigns common area sections to Public Are Attendants and follows-up with each team member on daily projects
- Thoroughly inspects common areas including but not limited to restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and trash disposal areas.
- Documents the results of the inspections, resolve deficiencies, and write work orders for maintenance issues.
- Inspects for any damages and immediately report to the manager.
- Efficiently manages, stocks, and controls supplies, equipment, and closets.
- Performs cleaning duties based on business volume and the resort’s needs.
- Coordinates with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Addresses guest concerns promptly and effectively, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues.
- Greets guests and provides prompt and courteous service.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Previous supervisory experience
- Weekend availability
- The ability to work various mid-shifts, typically varying between 10am – 6pm, 11am – 7pm, and 12pm – 8 pm
