Hotel Houseman Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and answer any questions they may have
- Clean and restock all hotel public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and break rooms
- Clean and restock all hotel guest rooms, including changing linens and dusting
- Respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are secure and safe
- Report all maintenance and repair issues to management
- Collect and dispose of all trash and recyclables
- Assist with inventory control and ordering of supplies
Hotel Houseman Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects such as furniture and luggage
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
