Rushmore Management is seeking an ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER to join our incredible team. In this role, you will work closely with the property manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the property. The APM role is a supportive role to the property manager.
We are seeking a professional, ambitious, and growth-oriented employee to fill this position. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and possesses strong communication skills. The goal is to maximize customer satisfaction, property efficiency, tenant quality of life, and teamwork.
**Only candidates with 2 or more years of property management experience will be considered
Salary: $50,000.00 per year
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the property manager in all aspects of property operations, including, leasing, maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations.
- Coordinate and oversee tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
- Conduct and document regular property inspections to ensure adherence to property standards and regulations.
- Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about local rental trends and ensure competitive rental rates.
- Assist the leasing consultant in the leasing process, including showing properties to prospective tenants, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
- Assist in the enforcement of lease terms, rules, and regulations, and handle lease renewals and terminations.
- Manage and resolve maintenance requests promptly, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Assist with marketing and advertising available properties on various platforms to attract prospective tenants.
- Perform administrative tasks including, but not limited to, scheduling, filing, and answering phones.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and staff, always representing the company in a professional manner.
