The Billing Assistant will assist in ensuring that the YSF receives payment for services offered to members and program participants from our third-party subsidy partners. Timely and accurate application of payment from our subsidy partners and professional communication with our program directors and participants to ensure financial data records are accurate and accounts are paid on time are critical responsibilities of this role. These organizations include Children’s Council of San Francisco, Wu Yee Children’s Services, Marin Child Care Council, etc.
This is a hybrid position. Must work on site a minimum of two days a week.
- 18+ years old
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workflow and to adapt quickly to changes in priorities
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette
- Proficiency with MS Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- YSF approved CPR/First Aid Certification
- Bookkeeping experience
- Accounts Receivable and Collection experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English or Chinese and English
- Experience with TRec, Salesforce
