Salary Range: $31.52 - $44.56 per hour (Hiring Range)
Incentive: Eligible for $20K commitment incentive or up to $25K tuition loan forgiveness. Also eligible for up to $10K relocation assistance.
Hours: 36 hours/week. 12 hour shifts. Days and nights available.

Behavioral Health Emergency Department: UNC Hospitals Behavioral Health Emergency Department (BHED) provides care to approximately 5,000 patients annually. The department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With the new state of the art Emergency Department Transitional Unit, the BHED can accommodate up to 42 beds for patients seeking mental health care in a patient-centered environment. BHED staff partner and work closely with Emergency Medicine to provide compassionate, quality mental health care, focusing on the unique needs of patients and families which may include those struggling with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
Child, Adolescent and Eating Disorders Inpatient Psychiatry Unit: 5 Neurosciences is a 28-bed Child, Adolescent and Eating Disorders Inpatient Psychiatry Unit comprised of three different focus areas to include 14-bed Adolescent, 8-bed Child and 6-bed Eating Disorders patient beds. Safety is the key component of the care provided as well as introduction of positive coping skills, healthy living and positive leisure activities.
Requirements:
Education Requirements:
● Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
● If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
● Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
Professional Experience Requirements:
● One (1) year of nursing experience.
