General Summary
Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) provides an integrated energy service for Developers, Property Owners, and Property Managers. We offer installation of energy solutions, meter reading, billing, and resident support to meet the needs of residential and commercial tenants for our customers. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Human Resources to join our team.
The Senior Manager, Human Resources will lead and direct the routine functions of Human Resources, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The Senior Manager will consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource strategy needs.
- Administers the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management including technology onboarding.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS).
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment and security laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and supplemental compensation strategies to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources.
- Develops and implements departmental budget.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Communications or a related discipline or commensurate experience in HR required.
- Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive Human Resource experience working in a growing, dynamic company as a strategic partner is required. HR experience in an Energy or Technology company is a plus.
Direct Reports and Reporting Relationship
Directly reports to the President. There are no direct reports; however, the ability to achieve results by working with team leaders, and others within the organization, regardless of the reporting relationship, is a critical success factor.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to primarily sit; stand; walk; handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus. Use of simple hand tools and various electronic devices may also be required.
Work Environment: Primarily work from our Home Office in Downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
