Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inspecting all goods received and checking that proper documentation has been delivered by the vendor according to purchase order.
- Report to direct supervisor any discrepancy in orders received.
- Document conditions with photographic registry of shipment received.
- Operate forklifts to unload materials moving them to the checking point and storage areas following stablished procedures.
- Placed material in SAP.
- Tracking PO reception by follow up report.
- Received and process the surplus material from projects.
- Evaluated the proper strategy to Load and unload goods from trucks in a safe way.
- Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
- Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
- Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may lock warehouse and set alarms.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental and control standards.
Skills, Qualifications, Certifications, Licenses, Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (Preferred)
- At least 1 year in manufacturing environment.
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Basic knowledge in SAP (Material Management)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
- Understand technical specifications for Oil and Gas materials (mechanical and consumables
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually mild in office conditions and moderate in the production shop area.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
