We are seeking energetic candidates skilled in problem-solving procurement methodology and analytics, in addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills. An ideal candidate should be highly analytical and a good communicator as well as be fully engaged, aggressively seek out sourcing and system knowledge, and independently manage themselves from start to finish on tasks assigned to them. Candidates should have some knowledge of sourcing processes and strategies and can apply them to aid in the problem solving of system issues. Knowledge in the areas of Procurement Systems, Finance, Warehouse, Inventory Control is highly sought as well as any experience in Stratton Warren and/or Oracle.
This position reports to the Director of Purchasing Systems and is part of the Sourcing infrastructure which supports 60+ properties. The candidate’s main focus will be maintaining the daily functionality of our procurement systems and the support of over 6000 users. System’s team members work with new implementations and projects as well as train end users and troubleshoot property issues.
In addition, the candidate should be able to develop creative and innovative procurement processes, ideas, and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement. A Procurement Analyst will often develop and implement comprehensive plans with stakeholders and end users of various complexity levels; ensuring involvement of all organizations and individuals impacted.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Using Caesars ticketing system (Caesars Now), tickets are picked up from the Stratton Warren Help Desk and resolved by Systems team member(s)
- Set up of items in the Stratton Warren system using an approval process, identifying contracted items and searching the Stratton Warren system for duplications utilizing the Master File Maintenance Program to create and support system item numbers requested by property purchasing teams
- Setting up of the approval matrix by user and dollar amount coming from Cnow with Adds/Changes/Deletes
- Using Showcase, create queries for targeted info requests coming from Food and Beverage teams as well as Finance and other departments
- Troubleshooting of tickets, emails, and IM’s coming from stakeholders, buyers, and end users with issues needing resolution
- Provide administrative support to ensure that system’s processes and procedures are adhered to and communicated appropriately
- Support GL teams at month end by providing reports and explanations of transactions affecting the bottom line
- Support of end users, offering Zoom sessions for training or resolutions to a current issue
Generating quarterly audit reporting for properties and overseeing/acting on the results

REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years in supply chain, operations, or business
- Demonstrated teamwork and team leadership capabilities
- Experience in using e-sourcing tools and purchasing software like Oracle and Stratton Warren
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary
- Excellent phone skills a must
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports
- Ability to accept ambiguous circumstances and take necessary action where answers to a problem are not readily apparent
- Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to define the problem or objective, identify relevant concerns or factors, identify patterns, tendencies and relationships, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and recognize alternatives and their implications
- Skills in managing multi-faceted projects to a successful conclusion
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
- Proficiencies in the use of all Microsoft Office products, Showcase and Stratton Warren purchasing software highly preferred
