**Job Summary:** Join our dynamic culinary team as a Pastry Cook where you will play a key role in supporting our Executive Pastry Chef in managing production, developing recipes, supervising the pastry team, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our kitchen. **Duties:** - Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in leading the pastry team, overseeing production, administrative tasks, and contributing to recipe and menu development. - Mentor and supervise pastry team members to maintain quality, efficiency, and accuracy in all pastry creations. - Experiment with new recipes for pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats to enhance our menu offerings. - Collaborate with chefs and team members to ensure seamless coordination in the kitchen. - Uphold strict sanitation regulations to guarantee a clean and safe work environment. - Provide training, coaching, mentorship, motivation, and guidance to kitchen colleagues to foster their culinary and leadership skills development. **Requirements:** - Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a fine dining restaurant or catering establishment. - Profound understanding of culinary techniques and best practices in pastry preparation. - Strong leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and guiding a team towards excellence. - Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. - Detail-oriented mindset coupled with a passion for creating exceptional pastries. - Knowledge of food safety regulations and adherence to best practices. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
