Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist with meal preparation under the guidance of the head chef
- Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, and dishwashers
- Ensure all dishes are washed and sanitized promptly
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with catering events as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or dietary department is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience as a Dietary Aide
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety guidelines
