We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dental practice team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized dental setting, providing essential anesthesia services to patients undergoing various dental procedures. As a CRNA in our office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and positive treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and sedation to patients undergoing dental treatments, including but not limited to, extractions and oral surgeries.
- Assess patients’ medical histories, current health status, and anesthesia needs prior to treatment.
- Monitor patients during and after anesthesia administration to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with dentist to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia options, risks, and post-operative care instructions.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with an active state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CRNA, preferably in a dental or surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles, practices, and medications relevant to dental procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and dental team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
