B&H Industrial is a family-owned, third generation industrial supply company founded in 1976. After several years of rapid growth, we are seeking an additional and exceptional Customer Service/Sales Representative to become a long-term team member. To be successful in this role, you need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, an excellent time manager, and be able to handle high volume calls and emails in a consistently friendly and efficient manner. A reliable and fast internet connection is required for this position.
Main Job Duties:
- Manage and assign emails
- Process invoices from suppliers
- Deliver customer invoices
- Receive payments from customers and run credit card transactions
- Enter tracking numbers into ERP and eCommerce websites
- Manage high-volume phone calls from customers and vendors
- Provide verbal and email quotes to customers
- Communicate with vendors to confirm price and availability
- Process orders with vendors and confirm order acknowledgements
- Keep track of backorders and follow up with vendors and customers with ship dates
- Prepare and reconcile monthly payments to vendors
- Keep track of past due invoices
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- Proactive work ethic and communication
- High level organizational skills
- Friendly and patient demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with eCommerce software
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, supplies, filtration and/or compressed air equipment a plus
