Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Qualifications:
- You must have Management experience in long term care settings
- Strong background in supervising staff and creating a team and person centered care
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and implementing care plans
- Premium skills in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and rehab.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial acumen, and medication administration
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall operation, quality of care, compliance and financial success of the Nursing Home and Assisted Living Home.
Job Duties:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility’s programs and activities in accordance with facility policies and State/Federal regulations.
- Represent the facility in dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third party payors.
- Ensure compliance with Life Safety requirements. Make routine inspections of the facility to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.
- Maintain an effective public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike. Maintain strong relationship with local acute care hospitals, physicians and other referring entities.
- Ensure that disciplinary action and hiring practices are administered fairly and without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, age, sex, religion, handicap, marital status or sexual orientation.
- Maintain operations within facility budgets.
- Ensure that appropriate staffing levels are implemented per State/Federal regulations.
- Serve on or conduct various facility committees, including Quality Assurance and QAPI.
- Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures and keeping the policies and procedures updated.
- Update knowledge with required continuing education.
- Other duties as assigned.
