The Vice President (VP) of Sales is a key member of our senior leadership team and is responsible for driving revenue growth through the management and expansion of the inside sales team. This individual will develop and execute strategic sales plans, optimize sales processes, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. The VP of Sales will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with company objectives, foster a high-performance sales culture, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance sales effectiveness in our fast-paced call center. The role will also oversee the continuous development and training of our current salespeople, while promoting a positive and motivating culture that encourages excellence and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Set ambitious sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds these goals.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
Lead, mentor, and develop the inside sales management team to achieve high performance.
Foster a culture of continuous training, improvement, collaboration, and excellence.
Partner with Sales Managers and Sales Specialist's to accelerate sales productivity by understanding and eliminating key blockers as well as provide coaching to enhance skills and productivity.
Design and implement efficient sales processes and workflows.
Cultivate a positive and motivating sales culture, ensuring the team is engaged, collaborative, and aligned with the company's core values.
Build a culture of accountability and urgency by transparently leveraging metrics and reporting to drive the right behaviors
Utilize CRM tools and sales technologies to streamline operations and improve customer relationship management.
Continuously refine sales tactics based on data analytics and feedback.
Ensure a superior customer experience throughout the sales process
Develop a deep understanding of our product messaging, technology platform, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape
Work closely with marketing, technology, tax accounting and advisory teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
Communicate sales goals, strategies, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
Represent the sales team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
Develop and maintain robust sales performance metrics and dashboards.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, results, and forecasts to the executive team.
Manage and analyze the performance of the department, including accurate forecasting, pipeline generation, and activity metrics
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
Work with senior leadership to define strategy and run the management cadence for the business
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in inside sales/telemarketing , with at least 5 years in a Vice President or Director level equivalent leadership role
Experience managing large inside sales teams
Expertise leading outbound telemarketing organization
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in an inside sales, call center environment
Experience overseeing a transactional sales environment preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
Creative, hands-on problem solver that can operate in an agile environment
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
