We are a one stop shop, single source of accountability for manufactured stone veneer product and installation on all project types. While a majority of our sales are B2B transactions where Quality Stone Veneer both supplies and installs its own product, a second segment of our business is based in direct to consumer, product only sales. In an industry where the majority of our competitors simply sell their product through second party distributors, Quality Stone Veneer has the competitive advantage to sell direct, eliminating the markup that is otherwise passed down to the end consumer when they purchase a competitor’s product from an outside carrier.
In 2024, we announced our brand new QuickPack™ Boxes of stone, designed to offer a convenient, easy to transport packaging option for general contractors, masons and developers nationwide who may be looking to purchase our product to install themselves, or by their own mason. While this market currently makes up only a percentage of our overall yearly sales, this sector of our business has massive potential for growth. By 2025, we have a company goal of expanding the product only side of our business exponentially.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated [Inside Sales Representative] to join our team. This role will be essential in expanding our product-only business on a national scale. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities both verbal and written, and possess the capacity to build lasting relationships with key industry stakeholders. They will be responsible for knowing our product and its installation inside and out. They must be customer service oriented, proving additional value to our customers post sale through follow up conversations and customer satisfaction check ins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with the Sales and Marketing Teams, develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow our product-only business nationwide, while taking responsibility and ownership to this sector of the business as your own.
- Working with the marketing team, develop new retail, hospitality, restaurant chain, hotel and similar partnerships for PO based product sales nationally.
- Target and present Lunch & Learn presentations alongside the sales and marketing teams nationally to increase our specifications within architectural plan sets.
- Attend weekly/bi-weekly sales meetings with the sales team to collaborate on accounts and potential sales targets.
- Manage and maintain QSV’s Prequalification Package, filling out initial evaluation packages builders require in order for us to bid their work.
- Develop a plan alongside the marketing team for expanding the visibility and sale of our stocked installation materials, further positioning QSV as a one stop shop for all parts and pieces for stone veneer installations.
- Create and implement new sales tools in partnership with marketing to further increase sales in the product only sector.
- Identify and connect daily with potential clients, including masons, architects, distributors, and wholesalers.
- Research and identify target customers per region, pulling key leads from a variety of outlets, and purse long lasting partnerships with the accounts.
- Present, promote, and sell QuickPack™ boxes of stone to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Work hand in hand with our logistics team to strategically find competitive, alternative shipping options for our customers.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Stay updated on best practices, codes, and promotional trends in the industry.
- Become an expert on the National Concrete Manufacturer’s Association Guidelines for Manufactured Stone Veneer Installations
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with CRM practices and ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience in the construction, masonry, or building materials industry is a plus.
- Experience with Hubspot Sales Tools, Salesforce, or similar CRM platform is preferred
- Willing to Travel, Role requires approximately 20% travel
