Office Support
Job Summary: The Office Support role is responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support to the Office Manager and Front Office. This role assists in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data, including invoices, expenses, and receipts, into the accounting software or spreadsheets.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize financial records, documents, and reports in an organized and accessible manner.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, preparing deposits, and verifying payment transactions. Follow up on outstanding invoices and support in collections.
- Communication: Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to gather and verify financial information as needed.
- Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate department or individual, processes outgoing mail.
- Answers phones and directs calls to appropriate individuals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in an accounting support role or related administrative position.
- Courses or an Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Environment: Office environment and shop floor environment of a metal fabrication and assembly operation with warehouse attached.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift up to ten pounds.
