Title: Early Access Shelter: Residential

Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible to meet program and client needs)

Job Summary: Support clients by providing supportive and stable housing. Performs daily intake procedure, client file maintenance, client evaluations and support through the continuum. Provides general supervision of client activities, documents pertinent shift information in daily logs, Eccovia database program, and client files. Shift work and shift flexibility is a must with this position. We are a 24/7 Operation.
Essential Functions:
· Provide New Client Orientation
· Input and maintain client data in Eccovia database.
· Follow established procedures for intake and check-out of clients.
· Maintain sober living environment compliance through implementation of drug and alcohol screening procedures. Perform UA testing; interpret results and follow through with the procedures to inform the client of the results.
· Review Service Statistics and correct erroneous data based on the reports.
· Conduct weekly client living area inspections. Inspect cleanliness of the living spaces and inform clients of deficiencies and provide opportunities for life skills education.
· Ensure compliance with the personal belongings policy and with extermination of the facility.
· Document pertinent shift information and observations in activity log, client files, and data management system. Inform case management of pertinent client information by way of the daily log, email or voicemail systems.
· Conduct bed checks according to curfew regulations.
· Ensure client compliance with house rules and guidelines.
· Comply with and enforce established policies and procedures.
· Follow established procedures in maintaining a safe & clean environment.
· Follow established procedures in conducting nightly bed checks.
· Provide crisis intervention and management as needed.
· Maintain inventory for hygiene, office and cleaning supplies for the program.
· As a data specialist: review, correct, update information in Eccovia for the residential program.
· Support the Shared Living Responsibilities Program.
· Generate Remedy Work Orders for Facilities and Eccovia issues.
· Work well in emergency situations
· Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience including six months experience in Social Services. Will consider volunteer work, customer service or other employment that has provided direct customer service or high- volume public contact where patience and tack are required and excellent written and oral communication. Ability to write client incident reports and log critical client information concisely and accurately in to Eccovia client data base. Must possess valid Riverside County Food Handler’s certification.
Preferred Education and Experience Social Services, or closely related field and one (1) year with at-risk population.
Other:
· Reliable transportation to visit job sites and or potential employers.
· Current CA Driver’s License, current vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
· Ability to relate successfully to an at-risk population.
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions
and constraints.
· Demonstrated organizational skills.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent such as discounts, interest and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required to drive to off-site locations.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with high level of activity and competing demands for attention. Must be able to work in a shared workspace.
