Job Description

Salary:
$3,657.33 - $4,791.66 per month commensurate with experience.
Job Description Summary:
This position will be responsible for supporting the Construction accounting duties. Analyzing reports and working with Project Managers to complete construction related accounting entries.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares, processes, tracks, and closes work orders, invoices and Non-PO invoices in AggieWorks, AggieBuy, & e-Builder (Construction Software): Processes Master Agreements, Fees, and Change Orders. Serve as backup for Architecture and General Contractor Payments.
- Prepares and processes final close out for all Purchase Orders, Projects and complete funding entries in construction system.
- Prepare and process billings related to construction projects, including monthly construction fees and other billing needs.
- Prepare status reports on contracts as requests are received from insurance and bonding companies.
- Attend and participate in meetings, conferences and training sessions with management and staff members. Work with and assist other team members by sharing information, presenting ideas and concerns, and asking questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business Field.
- Experience in Aggiebuy, Aggieworks, FAMIS, and/or Canopy.
- Experience in an accounting office setting.
