The Chanan Foundation is seeking a well-organized individual with a positive outlook to fill our Administrative Assistant position.

We serve our friends 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, depending upon the level of the individual's need, in Residential and/or Day Center settings. Every day we have clients spending time in the community at various locations as part of our community inclusion program. All services focus on helping our friends acquire, maintain, and enhance the skills needed to live the most full and independent lifestyle possible. Community involvement for our friends with developmental disabilities is strongly promoted and encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate person
- Support office staff and executives with general operational tasks; perform general accounting and filing duties
- Maintain employee records
- Process onboarding paperwork for new employees
- Build rapport with clients and staff
- Attend biweekly Management meetings
- Participate in a mandatory Administrative On-Call rotation
Education and Experience:
Minimum of high school diploma required.
Other Qualifications:
- Have a valid Georgia Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Have a current First Aid & CPR certification or willing to obtain
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
- Flexible, motivated, self-directed, and a team player
- MUST able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check
- MUST be able to successfully pass a drug test on site
- Experience with the Special Needs population preferred
Salary: $18.00 per hour
