University Instructors (UI) is seeking a dynamic Instructional Consultant with a passion for supporting program management and staff for our K-12 special education programs.

Roles and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Support a caseload of K-12 schools and serve as a liaison between the UI team, UI paras and behavior techs, school-level staff, and district staff
- Conduct on-site observations within a K-12 classroom/instructional setting
- Act as a subject matter expert regarding national/local special education standards and best practices (Ex: IEP implementation/writing, Federal and State level compliance timeframes for documentation)
- Act as a mentor for UI paras and BTs by providing direction, support, and encouragement in all aspects of student services in 1:1 and small group settings
- Complete required documentation for school visits
- Collaborate with your supervisor about changes at the schools you support
- Provide paras and behavior techs with effective solutions to behavioral or educational problems arising during student instruction following UI best practices
- Support collaboration among UI teams (Business Development, Recruiting, Curriculum, Logistics, and Accounting) and clients (district partners and leaders)
- Maintain a positive rapport with school administration and staff
- Attend client meetings when appropriate
- Complete other duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience
Qualified Applicants Must:
- Hold at minimum bachelor’s degree
- Have a minimum of 3 years classroom experience in a special education K-12 as a licensed special education teacher
- Be willing to work a minimum of 35-40 hours a week
