Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. In addition, a minimum of one year of customer service experience is required. Veterinary and equine experience preferred.
Job Description: Responsible for managing the flow of incoming calls and patient visits to the hospital, ensuring good communication with doctors and clients, and assisting in the overall positive client experience in a friendly and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide outstanding client service, focusing on client satisfaction to strengthen client relationships.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
- Greet clients and other visitors professionally and courteously, directing them to appropriate areas.
- Schedule client appointments with appropriate doctors and make necessary reminder calls.
- Act as liaison between client and doctor, acquiring detailed information to assist doctor with client communication.
- Respond to client concerns timely and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain a proficient understanding of the clinic's service offerings, doctors and staff, and any OTC product offerings.
- Coordinate, analyze, and improve client service functions to meet company goals.
- Assist clients with additional service offerings needed, such as follow-up for rechecks, vaccination reminders, information regarding new services or products, etc.
- Maintain databases of critical client information helpful in improving patient care and overall client experience.
- Assist with compilation and organization of information related to Coggins, radiographs/photographs, pre-purchase exams, and other types of medical records information.
- Prepare invoices and discharges, as needed, for doctors.
- Email/fax/mail requested information to clients, referring doctors, insurance companies, etc.
- Develop knowledge about each client and their animals.
- Maintain confidentiality related to clients, patients, and company matters.
