This position assists IDS Call Center Management in the supervision and operation of the department. The Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective workflow of his/her assigned area and prioritizing job duties. He/She performs all tasks in an efficient, accurate, and hospitable manner to ensure that patient, physician and organizational needs are met. Works closely with Management to troubleshoot and resolve issues. The Lead supports the supervisor with monitoring of daily operations and supports staff. Engages in performance improvement activities as needed and serves as a communication facilitator for area of responsibility.

- Knowledge of insurance and authorization process, HMO procedures and medical terminology; ability to maintain composure and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Telephone experience with excellent phone etiquette.
