SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT
Established Commercial Property Management Company is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to oversee a multi-tenant Office, Retail, and Industrial portfolio of accounts. This position reports directly to the Controller and contributes to the day-to-day financial operations of the company ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements for properties.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing, posting, collection, and payment of A/R and A/P.
- Oversee the month-end close process for assigned properties including accrual analysis & financial reporting.
- Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis.
- Calculate CAM, real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations in accordance with specific lease terms and requirements.
- Assist in the coordination and output of the annual budget process.
- Review, and analyze budgets, cash forecasts, actual results, and management reports.
- Provide financial analysis as needed for pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
- Special projects as arise and are required.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Yardi Voyager, and MRI software.
· At least 5 years relevant experience, commercial real estate experience a plus.
· Excellent communication skills including ability to follow and administer verbal and written instruction as well as clearly and precisely communicate accounting information.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work projects and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
