Job Description:
This is a HR Generalist for a portfolio of companies owned by a single investor, all within the healthcare space. These include Nursing CE Central, Luminous Travel Nursing, and Slone NCLEX Review. You will performing HR duties (explained below) for all core employees, as well as our travel nurses (predicted 50 seasonal employees in one year).

Our company culture is positive, upbeat, and hard-working. Each employee has a direct manager – you will not be responsible for training and/or performance evaluation (except as reporting).
This is a full time remote position with traditional hours in which you will be managing employees that work both in office (Jacksonville, FL) and in other offices, as well as virtual employees.
Broadly speaking, the HR generalist will perform the following.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with management to create necessary HR policies necessary for HR compliance at both a state and federal level (employees in various states).
- Employee on-boarding (I-9s, payroll, benefits, culture / mission / vision / core values)
- Administer benefits (selection, enrollment / de-enrollment) for employees.
- Oversee Payroll in conjunction with staff accountant
- Talent recruitment and initial interviews. This will include diverse outreach which may include event planning / implementation or attendance. Will work with manager to create ideal employee avatar and requisite skill-sets and present candidate files as available.
- Employee retention – strategies to be developed with management, including employee benefits and retention programs.
- Work with direct manager to create and coordinate orientation program and time-oriented goals.
- Handles employment-related inquiries and/or concerns from employees, working with management and leadership to resolve issues.
- HR-related budget management and planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR-related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human resources or people management.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and/or executing successful employee recruitment / talent acquisitions programs.
- Experience and/or familiarity with multi-state / federal HR laws and best practices.
- Ability to understand company vision and help craft current and future employees to accomplish.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Outcome-driven mindset with ability to focus on key metric and critically think through difficult problems.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Forward-thinking, innovative mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- No experience in healthcare is necessary.
Hours:
Working hours will be M-F 8:00-4:30 EST, with weekends and select holidays off.
