· Communicate with suppliers, review suppliers’ services, payments, and invoices.
· Maintain control of department reports and documents which includes creating Excel spreadsheets or Access Data Bases.
· Have knowledge and experience to be able to handle unusual job events and the ability to deviate from accepted practice if needed.
· Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, schematics and manuals.
· Worked on Control Devices, Motors, PLC's, VFD's and Soft Starts.
· Worked with HVAC systems (troubleshoot, replaced components, changed belts & filters).
· Completed basic building/construction jobs (building walls, door repair, painting, lighting, etc.)
· Have basic plumbing skills (installed copper & PVC lines, rebuilt faucets and control valves, unplugged toilets and drains, etc.).
· Have completed projects by identifying problems, designing solutions, building and implementation, including metal projects using metal working equip.
· Initiate process improvements in support of the strategic plan
· Respond to internal and external inquiries and forward to appropriate team member for follow up
· Lead TPM projects including planning, training and implementation and audits
· Compliance of all department ISO processes.
· Schedule outside contractor’s preventative maintenance work orders and services
· Operate forklift when necessary
· Be responsive to all machinery problems
· Must have a high level of mechanical aptitude and be multi-talented.
· Must possess good written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and with company personnel and vendors.
