This key position is responsible for providing clear direction to others while driving teamwork, safe handling of slabs, evaluating and making repairs to material and meeting department quality and productivity metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for stocking racks using a sit down forklift & boom ensuring that safety standards are met
- Complete paperwork and reporting thoroughly and promptly
- Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers with products of varying size and weight
- Assist manager in scheduling and routing customers’ orders
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through use of Oracle WMS
- Provide outstanding customer service to business partners and end users
- Oversee, mentor and train warehouse staff while ensuring positive culture is carried throughout the DC in alignment with Cambria’s values.
- Assist in employee training and development
- Detect and record slab defects and deviations from the standard (thickness, gloss, tone)
- Evaluate slabs during the pre-inspection process and perform repairs as applicable
- Input the status of slabs into Oracle WMS for accurate documentation of slabs
- Complete and monitor safety audits and promote a safe environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to operate scanning equipment and other various digital devices
- Strong working knowledge of standard warehouse systems and processes
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents and technical procedures
- Proven leadership and workforce management experience
- Ability to provide clear direction to others and driving teamwork through strong interpersonal skills in both oral and written communication
- Able to multitask and prioritize workload emphasizing organizational and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate persistent initiative with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Strong organizational, problem solving, analytical/critical thinking skills
- Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
- Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or GED, post-secondary education preferred
Experience:
- Three (3) years prior warehouse experience
- Previous industrial warehouse experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Prior shipping, receiving, and forklift experience
Systems: Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite, Oracle WMS and ERP
Managerial Responsibilities: Yes, lead team of Warehouse operators

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
The US base salary range for this position is $22.00-$30.00/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education or training.
