Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer / Bookkeeper to oversee all financial aspects of our company as well as personal finances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Duties:
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Manage accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Oversee tax planning and filing activities
- Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO based on financial analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of public accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Expertise in account reconciliation, double-entry bookkeeping, debits/credits
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
