Job Summary
The Whiteford team is currently seeking a Parts Manager to help our customers get the replacement parts they need for our new Marion dealership! In this position, you will oversee the entire parts department. This involves managing employees, checking inventory, and ordering new parts when necessary. You will also directly handle customer service when an issue needs extra support. Our ideal applicant has several years of experience working with auto & diesel truck parts, preferably with some leadership or management experience. You also need strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Forecasts goals and objectives, establishes pricing parameters, and prepares and administers the annual operating budget for the parts department.
- Analyzes, manages, and maintains balanced parts inventory level consistently with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale, and do-it-yourself public.
- Supervise, train, recruit, and hire personnel of the parts department team: Inside Counter Sales, Outside Sales, and Shipping & Receiving personnel.
- Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
- Directs shipping & receiving operations, stock orders and storage layout, and revises for efficiency and safety.
- Clearly and effectively striving for employee cooperation within all company divisions.
- Establish system for special orders and manage inventory levels to ensure dealership service and body shop have full stock orders to complete internal jobs.
- Develop and maintain policies and practices which will ensure positive employee relations and maximum customer satisfaction.
- Monitors daily reports; DOE, DOC, sales productivity, and developing lost sales tracking reporting system.
- Other duties as assigned.
