WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
We are hiring a Sr. Executive Assistant to support Box’s Chief Operating Officer. Our ideal candidate will thrive in our innovative, fast-paced, and growing organization, expanding their skills and abilities in pace with the company.
As the resident logistics and operations expert, you will be a problem solver and ready to tackle issues before they arise. You have top-notch communication skills and are adept at building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders both within the go-to-market (GTM) organization and across other departments. You have a strong sense of professionalism and are comfortable interacting with executive leadership, board members, and customers. You are excited to be a central piece of the organization and have a knack for understanding the pulse of the team and anticipating operational cycles and the needs of individuals and teams before they arise. You are able to see the big picture and understand how the big picture breaks down into its component pieces. You have exceptional attention to detail while executing on the pieces.
The role lives at the heart of the GTM organization and thus it will be necessary to become familiar with the team and team operations as a whole.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Create an understanding of the priorities and objectives of the COO and their teams (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, GTM Operations, and GTM Program Management)
Create organization-wide presentation materials
Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and lead various meetings, functions, and events
Act as gatekeeper, time-advocate, and liaison for the COO
Effectively handle multiple priorities for the COO, applying strong decision-making skills in handling priority of requests, raising as necessary for resolution
Handle dynamic calendar and schedule
Arrange domestic and international travel
Manage customer outreaches
Prepare monthly expense reports
Support cross-functional alignment within the Box organization
Act as a team point person: handle team requests, problem-solve, and assist with keeping the team on-track and organized
Help create and maintain communication within the team and broader org
Be a culture-contributor: oversee department culture initiatives, track, highlight, and celebrate important team cultural/career moments
Adapt to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
WHO YOU ARE
- 8+ years of assisting executives

Excitement to thrive in a dynamic environment, seeking to bring structure and clarity
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Professional comfort with Google Calendar, Coupa, Workday, and Concur
Confident self-starter that can take a task and run with it with limited supervision from executive
Able to anticipate problems and/or needs of your executive and proactively offer solutions and make recommendations
High attention to detail and creative problem solver able to think outside the box
Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality
Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex meetings and designing scalable operating cadences
Availability to perform job duties outside of normal business hours, when necessary
Comfortable adapting to a fast pace working environment
Genuine passion for culture, events, and organizational engagement
