As an Agency Development Specialist focused on driving profitable growth, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers. You will help expand our customers, increase sales revenue, and achieve targets through sales strategies and exceptional customer service. You will report to the Senior Manager, NSA Agent Distribution.

Essential Functions
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers within the designated territory or market segment. Utilize various sources, such as online research, industry directories, referrals, and cold calling, to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
Consultative Selling: Engage with potential customers to understand their needs, pain points, and business objectives. Offer customized solutions and present product/service offerings that align with their requirements, emphasizing the value proposition and competitive advantages.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and meetings with clients to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of the company's products/services.
Sales Negotiation and Closing: Effectively negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals while maintaining a win-win relationship with customers. Overcome objections, handle rejections, and develop creative solutions to finalize agreements and achieve sales targets.
Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research to identify potential growth opportunities, customer needs, and emerging market segments. Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and action plans.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in a CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track individual and team achievements. Provide feedback and insights to improve sales processes and maximize revenue generation.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma / GED
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Prior experience in sales, marketing, customer management working with independent agencies
Preferred Property and Casualty Insurance license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Previous experience in outside sales or relevant field.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving profitable growth.
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
Live near or in the assigned territory and willingness to travel 50-75% within the assigned territory as required.
Bilingual Spanish required.
This is a remote position. Must live in or near assigned territory.
This role is classified as primarily home-based, but it will require regular travel to local agencies to fulfill the expectations of the position.
