Full Time Night Shift RN
7:00pm-7:30am
At Catholic Health, our primary focus is the way we treat and serve our communities. We work collaboratively to provide compassionate care and utilize evidence-based practice to improve outcomes – to every patient, every time.
At St. Charles, we provide compassionate care for our patients dealing with addictions, and detoxification is the first step in recovery. St. Charles Hospital has up to 20 hospital beds dedicated to medically supervised detoxification to help reduce the physiological and psychological risks for our patients. As a licensed acute care hospital, we can manage complex medical conditions. We currently have an adult program serving those aged 18 and older and an adolescent program for teens aged 12 to 18. This unit is designated for acute inpatient substance abuse treatment services, which includes providing 24 hour nursing care and observation of patients that are detoxing from drugs and alcohol. When going through alcohol or drug detoxification, some individuals may have severe withdrawal problems that require inpatient medical services.
Our Medical Withdrawal (Alcohol & Drug Detox) RNs:
- Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients actively withdrawing from various substances.
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
