Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead, oversee and coordinate daily operations of skilled engineering staff while ensuring goals and objectives are met according to deadlines/priority
Duties:
· Leads and coordinates various engineering functions and operations including PFMEA, quality assurance, testing, production, and research and development of new and existing product lines.
· Serves as project manager for multiple projects, creating timelines and cost projections, organizing collaborative meetings, and ensuring projects comply with specifications, timelines, and budgets.
· Implement new launch projects and facilitate regular meetings related to launch.
· Reviews work and projects for technical accuracy.
· Establishes, implements, and maintains administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
· Facilitates process and procedure development with manufacturing department for new product development.
· Prepares and executes departmental budget.
· Facilitates communication among clients/customers and engineers, ensuring specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood.
· Maintains knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices; applies this knowledge to continually improve product lines and production efficiency.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- PFEMA, quality assurance, testing and research and development of new and existing product lines.
· Thorough understanding of engineering theory and design criteria.
· Design thinking and continual improvement mentality.
· Lean, Kanban, Six-Sigma and/or PDCA Cycle.
· Thorough understanding of applied math and physics.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.

· Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $87,800.00 - $130,000.00 per year
