Estimator
Position Overview: The Senior Estimator is a critical role within the organization, responsible for coordinating, preparing, and preparing accurate estimates for multifamily, commercial construction, hospitality, and related projects. The Senior Estimator will work closely with project teams to develop detailed cost estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of project cost estimates
- Gather, analyze, and review project data to create detailed cost estimates and budgets, and ensure accuracy of cost estimates
- Develop detailed scopes of work and schedules for estimating purposes
- Track and report on the progress of estimating projects, and monitor changes and trends in the market
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accuracy of cost estimates and budgeting
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Provide technical support for all estimating projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in estimating for multifamily, commercial construction, and hospitality projects
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
