Aspire Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated Marketing, Public Relations, and Development Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our organization's presence and outreach through strategic communication and marketing initiatives. Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Strategy and Communications (CSC), the successful candidate will coordinate all public relations, marketing, and development activities. Regular interaction with all services, departments, and staff levels within the agency is a key aspect of this role, as is frequent interface with media, community agencies, and businesses.
The specialist will be responsible for coordinating internal and external publications, maintaining the organization's website and intranet, managing electronic and social media, overseeing media placement and communications, event planning, and the development and maintenance of all marketing materials. Additionally, the specialist will manage the philanthropy database and represent the organization at community events, health fairs, trade shows, etc., as required. Developing and coordinating agency staff to assist in the implementation of the public relations program is also a significant responsibility. The role involves creating opportunities to increase the organization's visibility and assisting in the overall marketing effort. Working closely with Human Resources, the specialist will act as the department's liaison and consultant for recruitment. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Proven experience in coordinating marketing, public relations, and development activities
- Strong proficiency in maintaining websites and managing social media platforms
- Experience with media placement, communications, and event planning
- Ability to develop and maintain marketing materials and manage philanthropy databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
