WorkSafe-USA, Inc. is an occupational healthcare company that serves clients throughout the US. As part of our hearing conservation services, we provide on-site hearing testing and consultation for industrial clients, helping them meet OSHA standards.
Occupational Health Technician
- Work directly with our clients providing exemplary customer service through administering onsite hearing testing for their employees.
- Assist clients with other health and safety compliance services, including respirator fit testing and pulmonary fit test.
- Work collaboratively with staff Audiologists, providing thorough and accurate documentation of hearing test results and identifying any historical testing data needed, upon completion of client visits.
- Track and submit client visit details (expenses, billable hours, etc.)
- Ensure company vehicle, equipment, and other resources are maintained appropriately.
Travel
- Up to 75% travel and 3-4 overnights per week on average, with heavier travel during certain quarters. Limited travel required on weekends, depending on Monday and Friday assignments.
- Will serve a regional territory based on your location.
- Working outside normal business hours required while on client site, based on client's shift schedules.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- No previous experience required; all training provided on-the-job with an experience hearing technician.
- Ability to take direction, identify problems, work independently and in collaboration with others.
- Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
- Highly effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis, operate a vehicle, and lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving history.
- Knowledge of related OSHA regulations helpful.
- If not currently certified, Hearing Technicians are required to become certified by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). WorkSafe USA, Inc. pays for this related training and certification.

- Base Salary plus commission and quarterly bonuses. Base compensation starts at $45,000.
