Education
Bachelor of Science in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution Medical Technology
El igibility to sit for a nationally-recognized certification exam as described in the certification pathway/ route of eligibility guide of The American Medical Technologies (AMT) or American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP)
Note: the BSc requirement may be waived with approval from the Laboratory Leadership with a commitment from the new hire to obtain their degree within 6 months of hire
Certification Summary
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) or equivalent to be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Participates in the basic laboratory activities as assigned by licensed professional personnel using
