Our Practice:
Join our dental team as a front desk receptionist! We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dental care and fostering strong relationships with both patients and team members. As part of our team, you'll excel in handling phone calls, scheduling patients, managing billing and insurance verification, and ensuring smooth patient flow by coordinating with our dental team. Additionally, there's an opportunity to learn limited back-office duties.
Our hours of operation are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8 AM to 4 PM (occasionally until 5PM). Wednesdays may be allocated for administrative tasks and office organization. Our office is situated in the heart of Larchmont Village (Hancock Park, Hollywood).
Immediate hiring is available. Prior experience in dental/medical office setting is required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing processes
- Maintain patient records and ensure data accuracy
- Coordinate with dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
- Limited back office duties including : sterilization, setting up/breaking down operatory
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist in a medical or dental office
- Familiarity with Open Dental Software is a PLUS, but is not required
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dental setting
