Job Overview:
Established CPA firm (30+ years) with 30-35 permanent and temporary employees seeking a motivated team member to join our office. This is a permanent position in office. Office hours are Monday through Friday.
As part of the Client Service Support Team, your responsibilities would include:
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of client engagement letters, consent forms, and organizers.
- Logging and collating/scanning client documents from multiple sources as pre-cursor to initiating preparing each tax return.
- Processing tax returns – exporting for electronic filing, reviewing transmittal letters and filing instructions for accuracy, and printing client version according to instructions from signer.
- Releasing federal and state tax returns when confirmed, and monitoring acceptance or rejection within the EFS system.
- Preparing and sending invoices to clients for services completed.
- Managing US Mail and FedEx deliveries (which can become a daily activity during the months of March, April, September, and October).
Desired Experience/Other Requirement:
- Have worked in an office environment, particularly as a processing assistant or in a project coordination role; prior experience working in a professional services environment (accounting/tax preferred) would be ideal.
- Have had responsibility for preparing invoices to clients for professional services.
- A background check will be required.

- Comfortable with learning new software and new processes as our practice evolves.
- Self-motivated and organized, focused on completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Available to work overtime in the eight (8) weeks leading up to April 15 and October 15 deadlines
