Digital Media Specialist
We are seeking a mid-level Digital Media Specialist to join our DC-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire digital content creation lifecycle, from brainstorming ideas to final production. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with internal and external collaborators to develop fresh and innovative digital media strategies.
Responsibilities:
Content Development and Creation:
- Develop creative and engaging digital content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and digital campaigns.
- Independently shoot high-quality photos and videos using in-house equipment.
- Edit photos and videos; proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud is essential.
- Craft compelling captions, headlines, and narratives that enhance digital content.
Research and Strategy:
- Research current digital media trends, audience preferences, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with strategic goals.
- Partner with external contractors and partners to create and promote digital content.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in creating digital media content.
Strong understanding of major digital platforms and content publishing specifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expert-level knowledge of Canon and Sony video and photo cameras.
Proficient in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
A passion for digital media and staying up to date on the latest trends.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Experience collaborating with internal and external partners.
Bonus Points:
Experience with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
A strong understanding of brand storytelling.
Basic animation skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,500.00 - $6,600.00 per month
