ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates with operations team for mold changes/repairs
- Regularly changes air filters
- Preforms preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the facility
- Troubleshoots and repairs various machines and equipment
- Contacts and schedules contractors and waste pick up services
- Maintains appropriate levels of equipment and submits purchase order requisitions for items needed
- Assists operations and notifies operation team when machines/equipment are out of service
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFITCATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- Strong proficiency using a variety of hand tools and industrial equipment to perform maintenance tasks (e.g. drills, wrenches, measurement devices, saws, multimeters, vice grips, plyers, electric / pneumatic / hydraulic hand tools, etc.)
- Machining knowledge and the ability to read and understand prints
- Strong communication skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to adjust to changes quickly and efficiently
- Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The employee is frequently required to stand for an extended period of time; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
