Facility Manager- Maintenance Mechanic
ATI Performance Products is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our secure, newly renovated, 100,000 sq. ft., facility. The Facility Manager and primary Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled trades to support mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning machinery, as well as other repair tasks and maintenance such as plumbing, doors and locks, floors, roofs, etc. and structural components. In this very diverse position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and machinery, as well as maintaining our building. Your expertise in mechanical repairs and maintenance will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.
Maintenance Mechanic position operates Mon-Thurs 7:15am-4:30pm and Fridays 7am-12:00pm.
Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:
- 5 years of experience working in building operation and maintenance
- Experience with electrical projects such as outlets, lighting etc.as well as other tasks
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment
- Team oriented, with effective and clear communication skills as well as follow up
- Basic plumbing knowledge for sinks, toilets, and water fountain maintenance
- Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Must meet the requirements of the occupation such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling, and climbing 30 ft. ladders with no restrictions
· Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
· Must have a stable work history
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Job Responsibilities for Maintenance Mechanic:
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment as directed and keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory
- Liaison to all outside contractors and inspectors
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical problems
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to: Hydraulic Equipment, Pneumatic Equipment and Electrical Motor Controls, building and grounds (no landscaping), and other various equipment/items
- Repairs, maintains, and installs machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, manuals, and manufacturers specifications. Includes, but not limited to, pumps, fans, motors, valves, piping, controls, dampers, etc.
- Equipment maintenance includes preventative maintenance such as greasing machines, cleaning out sumps and chip conveyors, filter changes on HVAC units, as well and any normal building maintenance inside and out including backup snow removal and salting
- Must be able to maintain a team environment with all other employees and departments while providing a high level of service and accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision in a timely manner
- Enforces OSHA work standards
