Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our Rock 101 team as a Scheduling Coordinator. Someone who is hard working and takes this role very seriously.This role is vital to the school for scheduling and communicating. This role involves efficiently managing our school calendar and providing excellent customer support by answering calls and addressing inquiries from students, parents, and staff. This role is part-time, working 3-4 hours a day. Our day starts at 9am and are needing someone available for phone call and messages throughout the day as well as stopping by the school a few times a week.
Responsibilities:
Calendar Management:
- Effectively manage and update the Rock 101 calendar on the platform
- Coordinate scheduling of classes, rehearsals, and instructors availability.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information on the calendar at all times.
- Serve as front desk hospitality for the organization.
- Have fun – it’s a music school. Take your job seriously, but enjoy yourself! Our clients are amazing. Our teachers and students are rad.
- Customer Service
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and messages.
- Provide friendly and informative assistance to students, parents, and staff.
- Address inquiries, resolve issues and escalate matters to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
- Available to take calls and answer messages throughout that day.
- Communication
- Communicate effectively with instructors and staff regarding scheduling and calendar updates on a daily basis.
- Opus1.io Expertise:
- Become proficient in using the platform for calendar management.
- Provide training and support for staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in calendar management and customer support roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with Opus1.io and Asana platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
