The Psychological Center - Pegasus House
The Clinician works closely with the Program Director and Clinical Director relating to the program and clinical services provided including providing individual and group supervision to direct service staff and will conduct assessments and provide individual and group services to residents.
In conjunction with the Clinical Director ensure adherence to the required HIPPA and documentation requirements as identified by state and federal regulatory agencies.
Facilitate team case conference on a weekly basis to ensure coordinated implementation of treatment plans and service utilization such that the comprehensive care of residents reflects the philosophy and objectives of The Psychological Center and BSAS standards of care.
Engage and retain transitional age youth and young adults (TAYYA) and adults in treatment. Liaison and advocate for guests' needs and services to support recovery and aftercare stability. Recognize both gender identity and expression and cultural differences in treatment approach.
Clinician must have (at minimum) a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or a related field. They must have demonstrated experience and/or practical knowledge of adolescent health, substance use treatment, and developmentally appropriate intervention strategies. Mental Health Professionals should be proficient at providing individual, group, and family counseling.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a positive collaborative relationship among staff and community partners.
This is not a typical 40 hour per week position. It is residential and we do not close for holidays or inclement weather. The Clinician may be expected to work over 40 hours per week to assist in addressing program needs as they arise.
On call responsibility for clinical emergencies.
