Training Lead
Location(s): Minneapolis-St. Paul area

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The Training Lead will lead the development and delivery of training programs to equip end-users with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use the new SAP S/4 HANA and other systems and processes. This includes the training strategy, plans, and managing the execution of training globally for the ERP modernization project. They will be responsible for all planning activities and the overall coordination of training activities in the enterprise that promote user engagement and adoption.
The Training Lead will partner with the System Integrator Training Lead and work closely with the Change Management Lead, project team, business stakeholders, and end users to:
Training Strategy and Plan:
Training Needs Assessment: Lead effort to document specific training requirements of each identified stakeholder group which will inform the training materials that need to be created
Training Strategy and Plan: Lead overall approach for how learning/training will be executed, including the tools, audience, and delivery methods that will be used to educate stakeholders/end users and drive successful adoption. Includes detailed training curriculum, design & build timeline, initial delivery schedule and validated estimate of development resources needed
Training Development:
Develop approach for how trainers should be identified, engaged, prepared, and deployed to deliver training to the organization
Identify and manage the correct number of trainers to execute end user training 4 - 6 weeks prior to Pilot and regional Go-Lives across all locations.
Define and manage a team of global Super Users and SMEs to support Training and Train-the-Trainer sessions.
Work with Technical and Functional SMEs for input, review, and approval of communication and training materials, especially as they relate to role-specific changes and to ensure accuracy of SAP S/4 HANA training documentation
Training Delivery:
Pilot and Regional Release End User Training Delivery: Deliver pilot for end user training (A full dry run of training courses, particularly in train-the-trainer scenarios, to get feedback on the course and familiarize instructors with the material).
Manage all aspects of the transformation release training schedule, including planning, executing, and tracking
Conduct training content reviews and business validation
Conduct job role mapping to ensure adequate training by person.
Oversee end-user training logistics including all logistics, scheduling, LMS administration, rooms, and PCs.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate end-users on SAP S/4HANA and applications, modules, and business processes. Conduct and/or participates in formal walk-through of training materials (Train-The-Trainer Sessions).
Adapt SAP S/4 HANA training artifacts, including user guides, system documentation, and knowledge articles per regional releases.
Create Knowledge Transfer Plan to ensure smooth transition to steady-state team after hypercare period
Training Evaluation and Monitoring:
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary adjustments to training programs as needed.
Manage training delivery calendar by developing classroom agendas, timelines, and content flow as necessary to deliver effective training to end users.
Monitor, manage, update, and maintain knowledge transfer plans for project team members and be responsible for all training and certification records for end users.
Identify and manage issues, risks, and drive mitigation.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 7+ years of experience applying adult learning theory, learning approaches, behavior changes, organizational transformation within the corporate setting
Experience with learning and implementation of large system, preferably experience with SAP/ERP training
Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple functions (operations, commercial, finance, procurement, etc.) with diverse businesses, geographies, and cultures
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with good problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner
Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint and Outlook are required
Strong organizational change management methodology experience, such as PROSCI expertise or certification or ACMP certification a plus.
Experience with Enable Now a plus

Some travel (domestic and/or international) will be required
