Effective communication is paramount in this role, as you will be engaging with clients to facilitate payment discussions and addressing inquiries promptly. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with account managers and the sales team, providing them with regular updates on client accounts.
In addition to your financial acumen, proficiency in utilizing IT tools is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is required, while experience with Microsoft Outlook and Teams will be advantageous.

Tasks:
Confer with customers by telephone or in person to determine the reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service or credit contracts.
Deal with complex collection, fraud, or other activities in order to protect the company’s best interests while finding feasible resolutions for all parties involved.
Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts.
Review financial, sales, performance data and other activity to measure productivity and goal achievements for the department.
Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers’ financial situations.
Maintain records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Recommend revisions to processes and procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency in the credit and collection process.
Aggressively pursue the collection of unpaid balances until paid.
Interact with management team regarding the status of exceptional accounts.
Properly record payments and process credit card transactions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Minimum two years of related experience.
· Associate and above degree preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and other relative programs.
