Blue Label Packaging is a company built on fast turnarounds and efficiency. The Warehouse Associate is an integral component in ensuring we meet our guarantees. Working closely with the other production departments, this role will work to get materials pulled and placed for jobs, orders picked and prepared for shipping and ensure proper inventory control and warehouse organization. As a Warehouse Associate you will constantly be focused on accuracy, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and often changing environment. To succeed in this role, you will need a positive work attitude, a team mentality, and a dedication to getting the job done.
This position is non-exempt and operates on a rotating swing shift (between 1st and 2nd shift.)
Core Responsibilities and Duties

As a Warehouse Associate, you are tasked with picking materials needed for jobs and getting them where they need to go.

Inventory control and general warehouse management are core functions of your role.

Utilizing equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks etc. you will assist shipping and receiving with inventory via loading and/or unloading trucks and organizing pallets.

Our warehouse receives general deliveries as well – as a Warehouse Associate, you will coordinate with other departments to ensure their packages are delivered to their respective departments.

Picking orders and using SKU management to ensure things stay organized will definitely be a part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Working with your team leadership you will tackle other duties as assigned or needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You are comfortable with basic computer use and software

You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic math and working with numbers doesn’t intimidate you

You value teamwork but are also capable of independent work with minimal supervision

You enjoy and are adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience
-
High School diploma or GED required

Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required

Forklift & Pallet jack experience is highly preferred but not required. (Associates must obtain Forklift training and license within 90 days of hire)
Physical Requirements
-
Warehouse Associates should be willing and able to routinely lift and/or move up to 60lbs.

Warehouse Associates should be willing and able to stand for 8+ hours during their scheduled shifts.
-
Frequent bending, kneeling, turning, stooping, reaching and other maneuvers including walking are required in this role.
Warehouse Associate Schedule Information

Full-time, non-exempt (Hourly)

Monday – Friday
-
Rotating swing shift, every 2 weeks between 1st and 2nd shifts.
1st shift hours are 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 2nd shift hours are 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Overtime as business needs warrant, which may include Saturdays
