Pay is based on experience. Regular quarterly raises from 3 months until top out pay of $31.27 is reached in 2.5 years.
1st shift hours are 6:45am - 5:15pm M-Th (some mandatory overtime on Friday)
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe maintenance repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum production, quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

Perform all tasks in accordance within standard safety guidelines

Maintain clean and orderly work area at all times
-
Ensure optimal operation of machinery by completing preventive/predictive maintenance utilizing manufacturers instruction manuals, blueprints, and diagrams
-
Respond quickly to unscheduled downtime events. Perform post breakdown analysis to prevent further issues

Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment

Perform welding and plumbing as needed
WORKING CONDITIONS

Manufacturing facility / warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels

Non-temperature regulated facility

Constant material transport via fork lift moving throughout facility

4 ten-hour shifts with occasional overtime and shift flexibility depending on operation schedule

Work independently or in a team environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Constant standing, walking, bending, and stooping

Constant reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling

Exerting 50 lbs to 80 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 20 lbs to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects

Requirements:
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
-
High School Diploma or GED (required)

Minimum 2-years verifiable experience in an industrial maintenance environment (required)

Associates Degree / Technical Degree in Automated Processes or technical training with military service in electrical / hydraulics is a plus

Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions applicable to maintenance work

Working knowledge of electrical circuits 24V DC to 480V AC 3 phase

Understanding of and experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their components

Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical prints, diagrams and technical repair manuals

Knowledge of general building systems repair and maintenance
-
Experience with MIG Welding equipment and principles
