Cooley is seeking a Docket Assistant to join the Docket team.
Position summary: The Docket Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Docket Department team under the supervision of the Senior Docket Manager.
Position responsibilities:

Maintain and track court administrative notifications

Maintain Docket department intranet page
-
Provide administrative support to Docket team
-
Assist in maintenance of firm-wide calendar system
-
Generation and distribution of case, departmental and individual calendar reports
-
Assist with delivery and retrieval of documents from local courts and/or administrative offices.

Assist Senior Docket Manager with department administrative functions
-
reconcile Docket department credit card
-
Submit department invoices via Chrome River
-
All other duties as assigned or required
Skills and experience::
Required:
-
After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications

Available to work overtime, as required
Preferred:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Previous intake or calendar experience but not required

Knowledge of litigation procedures, civil procedure and calendar reporting

The expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $27.00 - $33.00 ($56,160.00 - $68,640.00 annually). Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
