The Solar Sales Support will manage CRM and internal technical controls as well as assist Business Development team in producing proposals and conceptual designs, interacting with potential customers via phone and email, educating them about solar energy, and asking qualifying questions to help determine client viability. Role can develop into Business Development Manager for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
· Managing & updating CRM software (including data entry & database management of proprietary software title) Monday Experience preferred
· Answering phones, taking lead calls & entering info into CRM
· Responding to email queries & form submissions, providing updates on project status to customers
· Scheduling appointments & managing calendars
· Assisting with financial models and proposal building, including use of solar design software
· Contributing to & driving corporate marketing strategies
· Actively pursuing outreach & brand-building opportunities through participation in events, sponsorships, speaking engagements, etc.
The ideal candidate should have:
· Excellent oral and written skills as well as solid competencies in computers and software
· A pleasant & professional phone manner, with required customer service experience
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, some Access experience)
· Cloud-Based file sharing & collaboration experience
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to work independently while continuing to be a team-player
· Ability to multi-task effectively & juggle workload according to moving deadlines
· Close attention to detail
· A valid Driver’s License
· Must have a “thick skin”, as the work demands are often time-sensitive!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
