Functional Responsibilities:
- Convert CAD files to cutter paths and post program to selected machine.
- Troubleshoot and make any adjustments necessary to yield a part that conforms to customer specifications out of the trimming process.
- Standardize and simplify setup of machines and fixtures to ensure work center is production ready for operators on reoccurring jobs.
- Operate machines and produce parts when not setting up a machine.
- Safety management.
- Accurate daily production reporting
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Extensive CAM or equivalent (MasterCam preferred) knowledge.
- Previous experience in manufacturing industrial product, tool or design engineering, and Solidworks preferred.
- Extensive Programming experience (5 or 6 axis preferred)
- In depth knowledge of Fanuc robots and how to apply them.
- A secondary knowledge of ABB robots is a plus.
- In depth knowledge of the ISO and safety standards.
- Good working knowledge of part fixturing and handling.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls.
- High level of analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills.
